- Story Text: With back to back Olympic golds and the experience of running an Olympics and an international federation, Seb Coe has a CV the envy of his rivals for the IOC presidency.
But only an IOC member for five years, the biggest stumbling block to the 68-year-old Briton's path to power could be his lack of political clout among the organisation's members.
In 1980 and 1984 Coe won gold in the 1500m - as well as a pair of silvers in the 800m - before embarking on a political career that saw him become a lawmaker in the British parliament.
In 2012 he delivered a successful London Olympics and later became president of World Athletics.
* Claimed in his manifesto that there is "too much power in the hands of too few people" and that decision-making processes are "out of balance".
* As World Athletics chief took a tougher line than other federations on gender issues, and has promised to stand up for women's rights if he wins
