  • Story Text:On Thursday (March 13), authorities in Dominican Republic, deployed additional military personnel and drones to search the coast of Punta Cana for the missing 20-year-old University of Pittsburgh student who vanished during spring break.
    They launched earlier this week a comprehensive search operation for the student.
    Sudiksha Konanki, an Indian citizen with U.S. residency, was last seen swimming near Hotel Riu in La Altagracia province on March 6.
    The search involves the Dominican National Police, Armed Forces, Civil Defense, and local firefighters, utilizing drones and extensive coordination.
