- Story Text: A handful of fans of the late British singer Liam Payne unveiled a bench in Buenos Aires in his memory in the British Cemetery on Sunday (March 16).
Fans also unveiled a red mailbox meant for letters Payne admirers may wish to send to the singer’s family in England.
The 31-year-old former member of the pop band 'One Direction' was found dead on October 16 after falling from a balcony on the third floor of his hotel in the capital of Argentina.
The remains of the British musician rested in the British Cemetery’s chapel for almost 20 days before they were sent to England after the toxicological and laboratory reports were completed.
According to the investigation, Payne died from multiple traumas and internal bleeding due to the fall, which would have occurred after substance abuse.
