- Story Text: A wave of tenderness swept through the courtyard of Rome's Gemelli Hospital on Sunday (March 16) as children arrived to offer a symbolic "hug of hope" to Pope Francis, who has been recovering in hospital for a month.
The young delegation, representing a wide array of schools and associations, brought with them drawings, prayers, and messages wishing the Pope a speedy recovery.
The heartfelt initiative was led by Father Enzo Fortunato, president of the Pontifical Committee for World Children’s Day.
