  • Story Text: Drone footage showed holes in the roof of a nightclub on the outskirts of the North Macedonian town of Kocani on Sunday (March 16) after at least 59 people died in a fire there in the early hours of the morning.
    About 148 people were hospitalised in Skopje, Kocani and surrounding towns as well as being taken to neighbouring countries for treatment.
    "After this tragedy, what do I need this life for, I don't need it", one man who lost his son told media outside a hospital in Kocani.
    The country's interior minister said arrest warrants have been issued for four people in connection with the fire, and state news agency Mia said that police have detained the owner of the club over the incident.
