The meeting will take place on Saturday (March 22), where South Korean Foreign Minister Cho Tae-yul and his Japanese and Chinese counterparts, Takeshi Iwaya and Wang Yi, will discuss cooperation since the previous trilateral leaders' summit in May last year and exchange opinions on various topics including the current regional and international situations.
Cho will also hold separate bilateral meetings with Iwaya and Wang on the sidelines of the trilateral meeting, Seoul's foreign ministry added.
China's foreign ministry spokesperson Mao Ning also told reporters on Tuesday that Wang will meet Iwaya for the '6th China-Japan High-Level Economic Dialogue'.
