Speaking at a strategic affairs conference being held in New Delhi on Tuesday (March 18), Gabbard said it was President Donald Trump's shared goal with Indian Prime Minister to resolve conflicts in the Indo-Pacific region. She also gave an example of Trump's 'commitment' to end the Russia-Ukraine war and 'prevent the risk of World War III'.
"Our responsibility is to make sure that we are providing the best, timely and relevant intelligence reporting to our leaderships, so that they can make the best informed decisions", she added.
Earlier, in an interview, she said "there was nothing but opportunity" in terms of advancing the comprehensive partnership between India and USA.
Gabbard met with Modi and India's foreign minister to hold talks on Monday (March 17). - Copyright Holder: ANI (India)
