  • Story Text: Russia and the United States will discuss ways to ensure safe shipping in the Black Sea at talks on a possible Ukrainian peace settlement at a meeting in the Saudi city of Jeddah which could take place next week, the Kremlin said on Thursday (March 20).
    "It may not be Sunday itself... it could be at the start of next week," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
    He said he hoped talks at the expert level would continue in coming days.
    Peskov also said that Europe has transformed into a "party of war" and that its planned militarisation is at odds with the current mood in Russia and the United States.
