- Story Text:Mexicans on Saturday (March 22) welcomed the news that Pope Francis will be discharged from the hospital on Sunday (March 23), returning to his residence at Santa Marta.
He was hospitalized on February 14 due to acute respiratory failure, which required complex treatment, including high-flow oxygen therapy.
According to the medical team, he will continue with oral therapies and a two-month convalescence period at home.
The Pope, who continued working during his hospitalization, will rest and avoid major commitments until he fully recovers.
