  • Story Text: It was a star-studded red carpet on Monday (March 17) as some of music's biggest names brought the house down at the 2025 iHeartradio Music Awards red carpet in Los Angeles, California.
    The atmosphere around the Dolby Theater in Hollywood was electric as rock bands Linkin Park, Green Day, and Tiesto were among some of the artists who strolled the carpet at one of music’s biggest nights.
    “I mean, whenever it's a fan-voted or fan, say in the video, in the award. I feel like for us, it's very special because our fans are, I mean, they're amazing,” said Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park.
    This year’s top nominees include Morgan Wallen, Kendrick Lamar, Post Malone, Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, Billie Eilish and Tate McRae. The show also awarded trailblazing artists Lady Gaga and rapper Nelly with special awards.
    “I think that's what it's about. When you become an artist. You want to inspire because you are inspired, and you're just grateful that people acknowledge what you have done and give you respect. And it's love, man,” Nelly told Reuters.
    But the evening belonged to Mariah Carey, who was presented with the Icon Award for her body of work and record-breaking achievements.
    The annual iHeartRadio Music Awards celebrates the most-played artists and songs on iHeartRadio stations and the iHeartRadio app throughout 2024 but also gives fans a preview of exclusive tunes for 2025.
    This year’s show also paid tribute to the resiliency and rebuilding of Los Angeles following the devastating wildfires earlier this year and will drive donations to FireAidLA.com.
