- Story Text: The protests continue today with many gathered outside the Prime Minister's residence in Jerusalem as well as well as outside the Tel Aviv District Court, while Netanyahu is giving his weekly testimony.
Israelis flocked to the streets against the decision by Netanyahu's government to dismiss the head of the Shin Bet domestic intelligence service Ronen Bar and resume fighting in Gaza.
The protests, which build on earlier waves of anti-government demonstrations, now include not only the people's disapproval of Bar's dismissal, but also the decision to resume bombing the Palestinian enclave, after weeks of truce, and to send troops back in.
