- Story Text:The Ukrainian Navy said it had not received any new order regarding a ceasefire with Russia in the Black Sea, a spokesperson said on Wednesday (March 26).
Navy spokesperson Dmytro Pletenchuk said the priority of the ceasefire agreement was to halt attacks on civilian port infrastructure, which had previously resulted in significant casualties and damage.
But the specifics of how the ceasefire will be implemented into national legislation remain unclear, Pletenchuk added.
President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on Tuesday (March 25) that Black Sea and energy ceasefires would be effective immediately, but the Kremlin said the Black Sea deal would not come into effect unless some Russian banks were linked back up with the international financial system.
The Kremlin says it is already implementing its pause on energy attacks.
