- Story Text: British business minister Jonathan Reynolds was interrupted on Thursday (March 27) by two protesters opposing arms sales to Israel when they stormed the stage as he was about to speak at a think-tank event on trade.
One protester shouted about Britain's trade of parts for F-35 fighter jets, calling on the government to suspend such sales.
The other protester directly accused Reynolds being "complicit in genocide".
Responding to the protest, Reynolds said Britain had halted arms exports to Israel, but said F-35s had not been suspended due to their importance to British national security and the fact their supply chain "can't be isolated to one country".
