- Story Text: Hundreds of houses were left surrounded by floodwater in the western Bosnian town of Prijedor on Saturday (March 29) after heavy rainfall in the area.
One local resident, Milan Sadjak said that while flooding from the Sana River occurs every few years, this was one of the worst He has experienced.
Resident, Aleksa Radulovic said he is unable to reach his home due to the flooding and hopes that the area will become more accessible in the coming days.
Local broadcaster N1 reported that suthorities in Prijedor had declared a state of emergency to deal with the disaster.
