- Story Text: The moon veiled most of the sun across the sky in the Greenlandic capital, Nuuk, on Saturday (March 29).
A thin crescent peeked through the clouds as the sky turned almost completely dark.
The eclipse was visible in parts of North America, Europe, Africa, northern Asia, small parts of South America, throughout Greenland and Iceland, as well as much of the Atlantic and Arctic Oceans; however, no one was able to see a total eclipse, according to NASA's website.
