  • Story Text: The 25th edition of Lakme Fashion Week started in India's showbiz capital of Mumbai on Wednesday (March 26), with Bollywood actress Ananya Panday as the showstopper on the first day.
    Panday's attire was designed by Indian fashion designer Anamika Khanna.
    Talking about her look, Panday said that the attire's theme was that of a warrior princess and it was making her feel "powerful".
    The event has been jointly organised by Lakme - a beauty brand in India, Rise Worldwide (formerly IMG Reliance) and Fashion Design Council of India.
    It is a five-day long event, during the course of which, over 100 designers, brands and industry stakeholders will participate.
