- Story Text: At least six people, including children, were killed in India's eastern West Bengal state after a gas cylinder exploded at a firecracker warehouse, local media reported on Tuesday (April 01).
The incident was reported in West Bengal's South 24 Parganas district on Monday (March 31) night after locals said they heard a loud explosion and saw the warehouse burning.
"I tried to help and save the victims but the fire was huge", an eyewitness said as he recalled the tragic disaster.
According to local media reports, police personnel present at the blast site said the victims were employees of the firecracker warehouse.
