- Story Text: Residents of a Texas community hit by catastrophic floods gathered on Sunday (July 6) to pray for the 67 victims, including 21 children and their families.
"I'm devastated by what's happened to these families, to this town," Terri Debusk, 81, a parishioner at Notre Dame Catholic Church in Kerrville, said.
"We are with them and whatever, whatever we need to do, we're here," Jose Gonzalez, 67, said.
On Sunday, the search for girls missing from a summer camp, Camp Mystic, entered a third day.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency was activated on Sunday and is deploying resources to first responders in Texas after President Donald Trump issued a major disaster declaration, the Department of Homeland Security said in a statement.
