- Story Text: Technical experts from the UK arrived on Sunday (July 06) in India's Thiruvananthapuram to repair the F-35 fighter jet that has been stranded in the southern city's airport since mid-June.
"In line with standard procedure, the aircraft will be moved following the arrival of UK engineers, who are carrying specialist equipment necessary for the movement and repair process.
The UK remains very grateful for the continued support and collaboration of the Indian authorities and airport teams" said a British High Commission spokesperson in a statement.
The Royal Navy aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing at the airport of the state capital on June 14 and has been grounded ever since. - Copyright Holder: ANI (India)
