- Story Text:Union workers started a nationwide strike in Chile to pile up pressure for better wages and a 40-hour work week on Thursday (April 3).
Hundreds of Strikers marched through the streets of Santiago, saying the government of President Gabriel Boric has not done enough for workers rights. Health and education workers also joined the march.
The national strike was called by the Central Workers' Union (CUT). Further mobilizations have been threatened without progress on workers' demands.
