- Story Text: Venezuela received 313 citizens on Thursday (April 3) as part of an ongoing repatriation program for migrants returning from Mexico, many of whom had previously attempted to reach the United States.
The aircraft landed at Simon Bolivar International Airport, where Venezuelan Interior Minister Diosdado Cabello was present to oversee the arrival. 151 children, 60 men, and 102 women, including 16 who were pregnant, were among the returnees.
This latest arrival brings the total number of repatriated Venezuelans to 1,610, according to official figures.
Cabello said two more flights will arrive in Venezuela, one on Thursday and the other on Friday.
