- Story Text:Sir Richard Branson touched down at Toronto Pearson Airport on Thursday (April 3) to launch the return of daily direct Virgin Atlantic flights between Toronto and London.
According to a press release, the airline last flew to Canada over a decade ago, having flown to Toronto in 2001 and Vancouver between 2012 and 2014. The new service will also offer greater connections within Canada as part of a partnership with WestJet.
“We're just so pleased to be back here together again,” said Sir Richard Branson, the founder and president of Virgin Atlantic.
