- Story Text: The National Salvation Party is the third most important in Turkey after the Justice Party of Sulieman Demirel and the Republican, People's Party of Bulent Ecevit. It now has 23 seats in the 450 member National Assembly. Although never in a position to command a majority, it has served as coalition partner to both the Justice Party and the RPP, most recently as a member of he Nationalist Front Govt made up of combined JP, NSP and National Action Party strength. This Govt, in which NSP leader ??? Erbakan served as a Dep. P.M. collapsed in Dec. 1977 when Ecevit put together the RPP Govt which is now being tested at the polls (14 Oct).
