- Story Text: In Delhi today a massive rally was held at the Ram Lila grounds by Jan Sangh. The Rally was Presided by the president Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. This rally was the assurance to the Congress of the support of Jan Sangh in this time of emergency. Shri Vajpayee spoke to a crowd of about two lakh people who had gathered there to second all that their leader spoke. Shri Vajpayee in his address said that he very much appreciated the decision taken by Mrs. Gandhi and his partymen are always ready to extend their support whenever needed. He even told the people of Delhi to help the government by all means and to be ready for the nation whenever required. He even condemned the step taken by Pakistan and was sure that the people of India would throw out the aggressors. At this moment of emergency Shri Vajpayee's speech proved to be moral booster of the public. He even extended his party is help to the people of Bangla Desh and said that he was sure Bangla Desh would come up as a separate nation. Referring to the strength of the Indian Defence Forces he said that he was very confident of the capabilities of Indian soldiers. He even complimented the soldiers for what they have done up to now and was very sure that he would hear a lot more of their victories. At the end he again assure the Congress that his party was ready to give whole hearted support.
