  • Story Text: Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan arrived at the Elysee Palace in Paris for talks with French President Francois Hollande on Friday (June 20).
    The Turkish Prime Ministry has said that the talks mainly related to the ongoing situation in Syria.
    Back in Turkey, hundreds of military officers convicted of plotting to overthrow the government were themselves victims of a conspiracy concocted with the knowledge of Erdogan, the chief suspect in the case said on Friday.
    Speaking a day after his release from jail, retired General Cetin Dogan said the Sledgehammer case would not be over until those behind the conspiracy were imprisoned.
