  • Story Text: Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan arrived in Algeria on Wednesday (November 19), beginning a two-day visit to the country.
    Travelling with a delegation of ministers and businessmen, Erdogan departed his plane at Algiers alongside his wife Emine.
    He was greeted by the President of Algeria's senate Abdelkader Bensalah. After inspecting an honour guard the pair entered the airport's Honour Lounge for talks.
    Erdogan is scheduled to meet with Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika with a view to strengthening relations and bilateral cooperation between the two nations.
