- Story Text: Serbian President Boris Tadic and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev held talks on Thursday (May 13) before signing a co-operation agreement during a two-day state visit by the Serbian President.
Before the talks, the two presidents inspected a guard of honour outside the Presidential Office in Baku.
They then discussed the expansion of bilateral relations in the economic sphere and exchanged views on regional security issues.
Later in the visit, Azeri and Serbian delegations watched as the two leaders signed a joint co-operation declaration. Other bilateral agreements were signed, including the relaxation of visa requirements for officials from both countries, tax co-operation and authorities from both countries working together to tackle cross-border crime. The leaders also discussed general trade and economic development. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
