- Story Text:Indian conglomerate Adani Group will invest over 1 trillion rupees ($11.38 billion) across sectors like data centers and cement in the southern state of Andhra Pradesh, managing director of Adani Ports, Karan Adani said on Friday (November 14) at an event.
Google, last month, said it would invest $15 billion over five years to set up an artificial intelligence data centre in India's southern state of Andhra Pradesh, its biggest ever investment in the world's most populous nation.
"The Adani Group's belief in Andhra Pradesh is not new. We do not just talk about investment, we demonstrate it" said Adani.
Adani Group and India's Airtel have partnered with Google to build the infrastructure for its new project, which also includes construction of a new international subsea gateway. - Copyright Holder: ANI (India)
