SYNOPSIS: An explosion wrecked the offices of the Greek Press and Information Office in Copenhagen on Wednesday...the fourth anniversary of the military takeover in Greece. The police haven't yet said whether they know who is responsible, but the damage is quite extensive.
The rooms took the full blast of the bomb, and a Greek Embassy official said it must have been a very powerful explosion--the offices were in a complete mess.
Nobody was hurt by the explosion, but a small fire broke out--this was quickly extinguished. And beneath the Greek offices, a restaurant was also damaged.
While in denmark protestors against the Greek regime have taken to bombs, it's hoped that in London a football match between Greece and England will take place without any violence. A demonstration was planned, but a peaceful one.
The Greek press attache in Copenhagen said after the explosion that only stupid people wrought fight an idea with bombs. The Greek government, he said, is not afraid.
