- Story Text: What started out as a joke for a Minnesota entreprenuer has resulted in the design of an intriguing new product intended to make a woman's breasts appear more alluring.
Perk-up, girls. A new product has been developed to help you attract that special someone. What started out as a "girls weekend" in Las Vegas for a Minnesota entreprenuer has resulted in the design of an intriguing new product intended to make a woman's breasts appear more alluring.
Called 'Bodyperks', the product is a silicone nipple enhancer that affixes to a woman's own nipples and are worn with a bra. According to Lori Barghini, one of the product designers, the devices "show off woman's natural assets in a new and sassy way - without the need for expensive plastic surgery or uncomfortable bras."
"Nipples have always been in." Says Barghini, "People have always known the power the allure of the nipple."
The idea for bodyperks was spawned by Barghini and five other women as they gathered in Las Vegas to celebrate their birthdays. As they preened for a night of fun at the casinos, one of the women as a joke, removed the bottle caps from the freebie bottles of shampoo in the hotel room and placed them over her nipples. The effect garnered so much attention during the remainder of the weekend that the idea evolved from bottle caps to the skillfully engineered silicone shell now marketed as bodyperks.
The sight of the artificial nipples got a positive reaction from both men and women at the tent at Fashion Week in New York City.
" I think they're kind of realistic looking, it definitely enhances the look", said Alana from Long Island.
"Sure, it would attract me," said Mark from New York, "
I guess every guy is different, though".
Barghini, who hasn't quit her day job yet, is confident that the product will take off. She says, "no one has ever invented or come up with something to accesorise or emphasise that natural charm that we all have ".
Said Carlatta from New York , "If you don't have big boobs or big nipples right now, you ain't in, it's not happening."
For maximum effect, Barghini advises wearing the Perks with a light , preferably solid-color shirt with no darts. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
