- Story Text: Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday (February 10) that despite recent contacts between Moscow and Paris, Russia does not see any desire from France to resume dialogue at the highest level.
President Emmanuel Macron sent his top diplomat to Moscow last week, sources told Reuters.
Macron said in December that Europeans would have to re-engage in direct talks with Putin if the latest U.S.-led efforts to broker a Ukraine peace deal founder.
Peskov also said that there was no date set yet for the next round of peace talks on Ukraine, but said the negotiations were likely to happen soon. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
