- Story Text: At least seven people died, including four children, in a suspected hepatitis outbreak in India's northern Haryana state on Monday (February 16).
Medical teams have set up camps in the village and are conducting blood tests and health screenings to identify new cases and control the spread of the infection.
"Seven people have died, including four children. After the deaths, we immediately started an investigation to find out why hepatitis cases were increasing in the village. We are examining all possible causes," Haryana state Health Minister Arti Singh Rao said.
