Ukrainian drone makers showcased new generations of unmanned ground and aerial vehicles on Friday (February 20). At an exhibition at an undisclosed location in Ukraine, engineers demonstrated remote‑controlled ground vehicles equipped with mounted weapons, while military officers tested controllers and examined prototypes before they are deployed to the frontline.
Representatives from Ukraine’s BRAVE 1 defence innovation platform said the direct feedback loop between troops and manufacturers had become essential for keeping pace with Russia’s tactics.
“Representatives of the military gather … and communicate with manufacturers, see what's new and express their wishes,” CEO Andrii Hrytseniuk said. He added that such contact helped companies focus on “products that are relevant on the battlefield now and will be relevant in the next six months, a year.”
