- Story Text: U.S. President Donald Trump pledged to ‘make peace wherever I can’ during his State of the Union address on Tuesday (February 24).
“But I will never hesitate to confront threats to America, wherever we must,” Trump added.
Trump also claimed credit for ending eight wars during his speech - an exaggeration, and barely mentioned the Russia-Ukraine war, despite Tuesday marking the fourth anniversary of Russia's invasion.
