  • Story Text:U.S. Representative Robert Garcia and other Democratic lawmakers spoke to reporters outside the Chappaqua Performing Arts Center on Friday (February 27) before former President Bill Clinton's closed-door testimony about his relationship with the late sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein.
    Garcia said Democrats were seeking a "serious deposition" with "real questions that deserve serious answers" from Clinton. He said the focus should be on Epstein's finances, survivors and potential foreign intelligence links, not a "sideshow" of questions about "UFOs or about conspiracy theories from decades ago," referring to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's testimony a day earlier.
    He also renewed a demand that President Donald Trump testify before the Oversight Committee, saying Trump appears in the Epstein files "almost more than anybody else."
