- Story Text:“Sinners” actor Wunmi Mosaku and cast members from “Hamnet” and “Marty Supreme” were among the celebrities who walked the red carpet at the 32nd Actor Awards on Sunday (March 1) in Los Angeles.
The ceremony will be hosted by “The Good Place” actor Kristen Bell, marking her third time. Bell had previously hosted the Actor Awards in 2018 and 2025, back when the awards were called the Screen Actor Guild Awards.
This year’s edition includes leading awards contenders like Timothee Chalamet from “Marty Supreme”, Jessie Buckley from “Hamnet”, and Mosaku who is nominated for supporting actress for her performance in “Sinners”.
Chalamet’s table-tennis drama “Marty Supreme” interestingly cast previous non-actors like Canadian businessman Kevin O’Leary and US author Larry “Ratso” Sloman. Both O’Leary and Sloman could be spotted at the red carpet, having been nominated alongside other “Marty Supreme” stars for the outstanding cast award.
O’Leary, one of the judges on the business reality show “Shark Tank”, could be seen wearing a necklace tied to an NBA basketball card.
The Leonardo DiCaprio-fronted political thriller “One Battle After Another” has raked up the highest number of nominations with a total of seven, followed by the period vampire horror “Sinners” with five.
In the television categories, Seth Rogen’s Hollywood satire “The Studio” leads the race with five nominations.
“The Studio” cast members Kathryn Hahn and Ike Barinholtz were among the early arrivals, along with “Hacks” lead Hannah Einbinder and Patricia Arquette from “Severance”.
