- Story Text: Drone footage captured on Sunday (March 1) revealed extensive damage to a residential building in Tel Aviv after a rocket launched from Iran struck the area directly the previous night.
Israeli ambulance services reported on Saturday (February 28) that the rocket attack resulted in 28 casualties, according to a statement from MDA emergency services issued Sunday. It confirmed one fatality— a woman in her fifties pronounced dead at the scene—alongside two patients in moderate condition and 25 with mild injuries, all transported to Ichilov Hospital and Sheba Medical Center.
The rocket incident came hours after the United States and Israel undertook their most extensive attack on Iranian targets in decades. Iran has denounced the strikes as unprovoked and illegal, retaliating with missiles fired at Israel and seven other countries, including Gulf nations hosting U.S. military bases.
