- Story Text: Israeli far right national security minister Itamar Ben-Gvir arrived at the scene of a missile strike in Beersheba on Monday (March 2).
Up to 19 people were lightly injured and received medical treatment at the scene, the Israeli ambulance service Magen David Adom (MADA) said after an Iranian ballistic missile hit the Israeli city of Beersheba on Monday.
The U.S. and Israel launched attacks against Iran on Saturday (February 28), killing the Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and triggering retaliatory strikes across the region from Tehran.
In the third day of the military operation, Israel launched a new wave of air attacks on Tehran to which Iran retaliated with more missile barrages.
