- Story Text: K‑pop supergroup BTS is set to return to the stage on Saturday (March 21) for the first time in more than three years, with a special concert at Seoul's Gwanghwamun Square that will be streamed live worldwide on Netflix.
The one-hour long concert, titled "BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG," will begin at 8:00 pm local time (1100GMT), following the release of the band's latest album "ARIRANG” on Friday (March 20).
BTS’ fifth studio album “ARIRANG”, named after traditional Korean folk song, contains 14 tracks including lead single “SWIM,” and other songs collaborated with Diplo, Ryan Tedder and Mike WiLL Made-It, the band’s agency BIGHIT MUSIC said.
The album will be the first released by the seven-member group in more than three years since the 2022 anthology album “Proof,” according to BIGHIT MUSIC.
The band had been on hiatus since 2022 while each of its seven members undertook South Korea's mandatory military service.
BTS will also be embarking on a world tour called “BTS WORLD TOUR ARIRANG” from April 9 at the Goyang Stadium in South Korea followed by 33 other cities in Asia, North America, Europe, Latin America, and Australia.
