- Story Text: Russia has not seen any signals from Europe that it wants to discuss energy supplies with Moscow after President Vladimir Putin instructed the government to consider switching remaining Russian oil and gas flows away from Europe, the Kremlin said on Wednesday (March 18).
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Putin remained open to the possibility of talks, no matter how difficult the subject.
He said that energy markets had received a series of shocks due to the Iran war, and that Moscow was seriously analyzing the theoretical possibility of exiting European energy markets. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
