  • Story Text:Smoke was seen rising from various areas in the southern Lebanese city of Tyre on Saturday (March 28).
        Plumes of smoke were seen in several places on the hillside overlooking the city, while black smoke billowed from a building near the coastline.
        On March 4, Israel ordered all residents south of Lebanon's Litani River to leave the area, two days after Hezbollah responded to U.S.-Israeli strikes on Iran by firing rockets at Israel. The river runs east from the Mediterranean about 30 km (19 miles) north of the border with Israel. About 8% of Lebanese territory lies south of the river.
