- Story Text: Iranian missiles were seen flying through the night sky towards Israel across Tel Aviv and the West Bank on Monday (March 30) in two different barrages.
The Israeli army said in announcements that the two missile attacks came from Iran. There were no immediate reports of damages or casualties in the attacks that came within about 30 minutes from each other.
Earlier on Monday, U.S. President Donald Trump warned that Iran's energy plants and oil wells would be obliterated if it did not open the Strait of Hormuz, after Tehran described U.S. peace proposals as "unrealistic" and fired waves of missiles at Israel.
Tehran remained defiant in the month-old war, which began with U.S.-Israeli attacks on Iran on February 28 and has spread across the region, killing thousands, disrupting energy supplies and hitting the global economy. The majority of those reported killed were in Iran and Lebanon, and many were civilians.
