- Story Text: Devout Christians across India commemorated the crucifixion of Jesus Christ by offering prayers and organising processions on Friday (April 03).
The day, marked as Good Friday, is considered to be a day of mourning for Christians across the world.
In the Indian capital, devotees thronged the Sacred Hearts Cathedral Church to attend the morning mass, followed by the procession.
In southern Thiruvananthapuram city, devotees held the Holy Cross as they reflected upon the teachings of Jesus.
