- Story Text: Residents in India's Leh expressed their solidarity with Iranians and raised funds by auctioning essential commodities, including eggs, on Sunday (April 05).
Thousands of people have been killed across the Middle East in the Iran war, which began when the U.S. and Israel struck Iran on February 28.
Locals gathered at the auction said they paid almost $270 for eggs, and were willing to make greater sacrifices for the people of Iran.
