- Story Text: Moslem refugees continued to arrive at refugee camps in government-held parts of Bosnia-Herzegovina on Sunday (October 15), despite a ceasefire which has taken hold across most of the country.
Those who fled to Zenica refugees camp were mainly children, women and old men. United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) spokesman Kris Janowski said men of fighting age had been separated from their families by advancing Serbs. There condition and whereabouts was not known, he said.
In northeast Bosnia several Moslem families were forced out of their homes in Bijeljina and fled to Kladanj, local refugee coordinators said.
One elderly woman said that Bosnian Serb military police came to her house in the middle of the night and told her to leave. She said that her husband and son were killed a week earlier and the military police had forced her to leave with just the clothes she was wearing.
