- Story Text: Hundreds of Palestinian refugees in Lebanon have
been demonstrating against Israeli aggression.
Hundreds of Palestinian refugees from the Buss Camp
in Tyre, southern Lebanon, marched in rallies on Monday
(September 8) morning to protests against Israeli attacks
on Palestinian targets.
Men, women and children carried Palestinian flags and
portraits of Yasser Arafat and chanted slogans in support
of the Palestinian president.
Some of the children participating in the march were
dressed in army clothes.
The demonstrations were held after the Israeli strike
in Gaza during the spiritual leader of the militant Islamic
group, Hamas, Sheikh Ahmad Yassin was lightly wounded on
Saturday (September 6).
