The Grammy Awards are the music industry's biggest night, but, they were upstaged by the arrest of R&B star Chris Brown. Police are continuing their investigation into his alleged attack on a woman, widely believed to be his girlfriend, pop songstress Rihanna. She was later treated in hospital and released but has since cancelled a number of appearances.
Meanwhile, former Led Zeppelin singer Robert Plant received a "whole lotta love" at the Grammy's, winning five prizes including album of the year for an acclaimed collaboration with bluegrass queen Alison Krauss.
In what is one of the most anticipated albums of the year, Irish rockers U2 are set to release their 12th studio work on February 27 in Ireland.
"No Line On the Horizon" will mark the band's first album since 2004.
Actress Demi Moore and her husband Ashton Kutcher brought some much needed Hollywood glamour to the red carpet and Berlin film fans went wild as the couple attended the world premiere of "Happy Tears," at the Berlin film festival.
Will Smith is like money. The versatile actor topped Forbes magazine's list as Hollywood's most bankable star in a survey of movie industry professionals.
