  • Story Text: Syrian government's delegation that will take part in the peace conference for Syria arrived in Montreux, Switzerland on Tuesday (January 21) after having to wait in Athens to re-fuel their plane.
    The delegation is headed by Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Moualem and includes Syrian Deputy Foreign Minister Faisal al-Miqdad, Syrian President's Political Advisor Buthaina Shaaban and Syrian Information Minister Omran Zoabi.
    The talks will kick off on January 22.
    Syrian State Agency quoted Moualem earlier saying that "Syrian Presidency is a Red Line", and Syrian has agreed to participate in the conference as a start for the Syrian dialogue without any foreign intervention.
