- Story Text: "Sex in the City" designer Patrica Field has brought
her collection to South America for the first time.
Patricia Field chose Lima, Peru as the location for
her first fashion show in South America.
Joining the "House of Field" collection was local Peruvian
designer, Jorge Luis Salinas, winner of the 2003 Vogue Prize,
who also exhibited his collection.
"Our clothes are very, very.... I would say sexy" said
Patricia Field "and very, very... thinking of the woman's
body at all times."
Known for progressive fashion for over 25 years, Patricia
Field, stylist to the girls of "Sex and the City", has long
been a magnet for artists and celebrities.
A native New Yorker, Patricia Field began her career when
she opened her Greenwich Village boutique in 1966.
Field won an Emmy for Outstanding Costumes for a Series
for her trend setting fashions on Sex and the City. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
