  • Story Text: Thousands of gay, lesbian and transgender participants marched in Gay Pride parades going on simultaneously in Caracas, Venezuela and Bogota, Colombia Sunday (July 2).
    Participants wore outlandish costumes and played to the crowds of gawking onlookers.
    "We are united here to fight. More than anything for equality because we are all equal, sons of nature and we aren't martians or aliens," said Sayuri a transgender in Caracas.
    Chile celebrated with it's first gay pride parade as well.
